Let me explain, this digital revolution has impacted photography, in a negative way. Where are your photos? Are they hung in your house to show those memories or do they sit on your phone taking up space? How often do you actually look back at them? Will your children be able to show their children photos of their family; their cousins, their grandparents, their vacations? I remember growing up and being able to watch homemade videos of Christmas and birthday parties. That's something my children will never have. But I'll be sure they have tangible photos to show their family to be.

The conclusion of the study indicates portraits and family photos displayed in the home boosts children's self esteem and confidence. This makes complete sense. Hanging photos show the child how valuable they are to that family. They feel like they belong, in a sense.
